“Intention, ingenuity, and open innovation are the ultimate competitive advantages.”
About
I build the trust and verification infrastructure that lets frontier-market commodity production trade at institutional standards.
my story
First love, Economics. Second love, Design. Third love, structuring chaos and creating utility.
My background lives at the intersection of economics, information and visual design, data architecture, and product engineering — all in service of structuring complexity and building real-world solutions. I began my career on Wall Street, with early roles at Lehman Brothers, at Morgan Stanley in equity research and as a global capital markets analyst, and at the International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group) as an Investment Associate in Global Energy, Mining & Infrastructure — where I structured and executed more than $2B across Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa. That foundation in alts and traditional finance — capital markets, equity research, private equity, emerging-markets deal structuring, risk pricing, and commodity forecasting — still shapes how I approach solutions engineering and system design today.
Over the last fifteen years I have led, advised, and built across venture-backed innovation and 0-to-1 product development — from bootstrapped solo-preneurs to billion-dollar unicorns. Across that range my competency has stayed constant: a studied global macro-economic perspective, an appetite for deep technical acumen, an affinity for systems and computational thinking, and a belief that intention, ingenuity, and open innovation are the ultimate competitive advantages for real-world impact and collective good.

Current Focus
Today my work is centered on the Future of Finance — where infrastructure, machine intelligence, and inclusion intersect. I focus on the evolution of fintech, blockchain, regulatory-tech, and civic digital infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on AI/ML systems, data governance, and next-generation tools for compliance and trade execution. Most recently I am leading the Global Trade & Compliance Exchange — the culmination of my trajectory thus far — a protocol and infrastructure layer for trusted physical commodity flows, built to enable sovereign-grade verification, cross-border integrity, and real-world utility at scale.
I hold a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, where I was an NCAA Division I collegiate athlete. I am a CFA Level I candidate and a CAIA Level I candidate, and I hold FINRA Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses (inactive).
